    1 package homemade pie dough

    1 tsp cornstarch

    1 tbsp warm water

    6 large apples, perfectly round and firm

    1 tsp ground cinnamon

    1/2 cup refined sugar

    A splash of Vainilla Molina Clear

    A large egg 1 tsp milk

    1. In a small pan, mix cornstarch and warm water until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

    2. Peel and slice two apples into large squares.

    3. Cook apple pieces, cornstarch mixture, cinnamon and sugar in a pan over medium heat.

    4. Stir for 5 minutes, lower heat and boil for 5 more minutes.

    5. Remove and add a splash of Vainilla Molina Clear, stir and let cool.

    6. Cut surface of 4 remaining apples and with a spoon to remove cores.

    7. Fill them with previous mixture and set aside.

    8. On a floured surface, shape, flatten and cut the dough into 24 strips that can cover the apples and refrigerate.

    9. Place 6 strips of pie dough on each apple and put on a baking pan.

    10. Preheat the oven to 191 °C / 375 °F.

    11. In a small bowl, beat egg and milk together. Brush top of each apple with egg

    glaze and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top before baking.

    12. Bake the apples for 18 minutes or until crust is golden-brown and the filling is bubbly.

    13. Let cool at room temp for 10 minutes.

    14.Serve and enjoy.
