VANILLA LAVENDER COFFEE
Ingredients
For Vanilla Lavender Syrup:
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup water
4 tsp dried lavender flowers
A splash of Vainilla Molina
For Cold Foam & Coffee:
3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp milk
1–2 tbsp vanilla lavender syrup
Purple food coloring (optional)
2 shots chilled espresso or ¾ cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
Ice, as desired
Directions
For Vanilla Lavender Syrup:
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar and dried lavender flowers.
2. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 min to deepen flavor.
4. Remove from heat and add a splash of Vainilla Molina. Stir to combine.
5. Let syrup cool completely, then strain out lavender flowers.
6. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 3 weeks.
For Coffee:
1. In a cup, combine heavy cream and milk for cold foam. Sweeten to taste with the vanilla lavender syrup. For a pop of color, add a few drops of purple food coloring, if desired.
2. Froth mixture using a milk frother until light, smooth and fluffy.
3. Fill a glass with ice and pour in chilled espresso or strong coffee.
4. Top with lavender cold foam and enjoy!
