INGREDIENTS

    For the base:   

    3 flour tortillas   

    1 tbsp melted butter   

    1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar  

    1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon   

     

    For the apple filling:   

    3 large apples, chopped   

    2 tbsp butter    

    1 tbsp sugar   

    1 tbsp cinnamon    

    A big splash of Vainilla Molina Clear 

    1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice   

    Liquid caramel 

Directions

DIRECTIONS

    1. Preheat oven to 350 °F and grease a muffin tin.  

    2. Brush flour tortillas with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.   

    3. Cut flour tortillas into quarters and place two pieces in pan to form a cup.  

    4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.    

    5. In a saucepan, mix chopped apples with butter, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and Molina Vanilla.   

    6. Cook over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes.  

    7. Remove pies from oven and let them cool slightly.  

    8. Spoon apple filling so that each tart is 3/4 full.  

    9. You can give it an extra touch of sweetness by adding caramel corn syrup.  

    10. Enjoy!
