Easy guide to baking with a silicone mold

Is it your first time using silicone molds for your baked desserts? Don't worry! We'll explain how to make sure your recipes come out perfect the first time.

Make sure you can put it in oven 

Not all silicone molds are the same. Some are heat-resistant (for baking!). Before using them, check the packaging to make sure they can take your oven's heat. 

Grease the mold the first time 

If you're trying out a brand-new silicone mold, we recommend that you wash it very well, dry it and grease it so that your dessert comes out the way you want it to.

Use a stable base  

Before pouring your batter into the silicone mold, place it on a baking sheet. This way, it's easier to get it in and out of the oven without messing up your pastries. 

Wash your molds carefully  

Handwash your silicone mold with warm water, soap and a soft sponge.
