Vanilla & Heritage: Sweet Recipes to Commemorate the Month

Vanilla is one of those timeless ingredients that brings generations together. Its aroma brings back family memories, its flavor reminds us of tradition and its versatility makes it the perfect base for creating sweet moments at any celebration.

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re sharing two simple, meaningful recipes: a classic dessert with a unique twist and a cozy drink that feels like home.

Recipe 1: Iced Vanilla Cinnamon Latte

This one’s the perfect pick-me-up — creamy, refreshing, and just the right touch of spice.

Ingredients:

1 cup cold espresso

½ cup milk

A splash of Vainilla Molina

1 tsp honey

½ tsp ground cinnamon

Ice to taste

Directions:

1. Fill a large glass halfway with ice.

2. Add coffee, milk and a splash of Vainilla Molina. Mix well.

3. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and garnish with a cinnamon stick or sprig for a nice touch.

Tip: Want to make it extra special? Add a dollop of whipped cream on top!

Recipe 2: Corn Cheesecake

This one’s a cozy twist on a classic — creamy, rich and packed with flavor.

Ingredients:

For base:

1 package vanilla cookies

1 stick butter, softened

For filling:

3 large eggs 1 can condensed milk 3 pieces tender corn A splash of Vainilla Molina 1 stick cream cheese 1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 356 °F. Grease and flour a large pie pan and set aside. 2. Crush cookies in a blender or food processor. Mix with the softened butter until you get a sandy texture.

3. Press mixture into the bottom and sides of pie pan to form crust. Set aside.

4. Blend corn kernels with condensed milk, cheese, sour cream, and eggs until smooth. Add a splash of Vainilla Molina and give it a final blend to combine well.

5. Pour the filling into the crust and bake for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.

6. Let cool completely, then refrigerate overnight. (Trust us, the flavors really come together!)
